未曾亲历的地震两三事

　　活到现在经历过四次地震了，在上海这个不算多震的城市里，地震的恐慌很轻易就会被五光十色的浮华粉饰得一干二净。

　　我人生中的第一场地震，已经不记得年份，大约是八十年代，好像是6.7级？晚上发生的，我睡得跟猪头似的，爸妈跑来我房间守在我床边，事后说不是因为害怕，是打算要死死一块儿，一觉醒来我根本不知道已经发生过强地震，吃了早饭上学去了，同桌问起昨晚的情形我还一脸茫然，随后早班会的广播里才听说地震过了。那次家里震碎一只玻璃杯，就是以前上海很流行的一个玻璃水壶加六个茶杯的七头茶具，环形的红色条纹，至今父母家里还有保留着。

　　九五年的时候碰上第二场地震，也是晚上，不过那个时候生活内容已经很丰富了，我也毕业工作有一年了，一位同事在保龄球场里打电话给我，说刚才球场里全场 Strike (全倒)，后来才知道是地震了。因为住的是旧式公房，所以当时房子摇晃得很厉害，碗颤盏抖的，叮当响作一片，老爸出去开会没回来，我问我妈“我们要下去疏散么”，我妈说“有什么用，该倒的早就倒了”，就此我相信，我妈是个死都不肯离开家的人。

　　后来的一次地震因为很轻微，我几乎没什么印象，只是模糊记得有轻微短暂的震感，时间什么的完全没有记忆，而今天这次的地震，我恰巧在家里照顾生病的丸子，平静的下午，一会儿出太阳一会阴天。老婆打电话来的时候丸子正在呼呼大睡，电话那头说不上人声鼎沸，只是有些嘤嘤嗡嗡，老婆扯着嗓门说地震了，他们都疏散到楼下了，现在在观望，让我赶紧抱着丸子疏散到楼下去，我说家里这块屁事没有，没事的吧，老婆有点发急地催促我赶紧行动，想想也罢，她一个人在外边一定非常担心，于是简单地丸子穿了件外套，披了个小毛毯，和家里的小保姆一起到楼下只有两位老太太在健身的花园里坐着等指示。确实后来也没什么令人激动的事情发生，手机上 twitter 看了一会，貌似很多朋友都回办公楼继续上班了，坐了将将半个钟头，屁股也发疼了，抱着丸子又回来继续睡觉......

房子、票子、面子

　　有些时间没有写点东西了，倒不是偷懒，实在是忙着买房装修没有时间写了。我们几年前买的房一直也没机会去住，临了还被丈母娘的两滴眼泪尴尬得不得已而贱卖了。买方说自己上有八十老母腿脚不便，下有工伤脑瘫的儿子，只能住底楼，看中我们那套市口好的大房子，丈母娘本来就是慈悲胸怀，被说得眼泪汪汪，看得我脊梁骨发凉，好像我不贱卖便是冷血动物一头。现时来看，当初如果不卖，那套房少说也要多卖二十万，怎么说好呢，财运如流水，门前淌过，洗洗手沾点喜气足矣。

　　眼下两大市场低迷的低迷，徘徊的徘徊，除却那些别有用心的资本依旧是进进出出热闹非凡，老百姓的血汗钱似乎都沉睡不醒了，去银行看看就知道了，本来人声鼎沸的下午两点，现在一派门可罗雀的景象，拿了号屁股还没坐稳就被叫去柜面了，天差地别的变化哦......

Addict-o-matic, inhale the world

Having been played around Addict-o-matic for few days, to be straightforward, I was attracted by its interface first time I opened it, even my daughter loves that cute robot. It's really a great experience searching with Addict-o-matic, the page loads fast, the Ajax script didn't slow down my browser, and the AIO result is quite easy to preview with the cute tooltips.

But, multi-byte characters? NO WAY, just another chicken rib to Asian language users. Anyway, I still love it, thanks to those shiny API to make this possible and so easy, it's very convenient to track down Microsoft and Yahoo! event in the past few days, and, of course, adults.

A darker, evil-er Bugatti Veyron has been born to run alongside the Pur Sang: the Sang Noir. Word is the newest variant has been created to be a tip of the hat — that would be “chapeau!” in French — to the Bugatti Atlantique 57S. It gets a slightly different front grille with matching side mirrors, black headlight surrounds, exclusive wheels, and an interior dressed in what looks like electric orange. All in all, the car appears to share nothing with the Atlantique other than the name Bugatti and choice of exterior color. But it’s not like that would keep you from buying it, would it?

　　我很是不喜欢受人之托地写 blog，不过有些例外，比如我很是喜欢的 Drupal，以及我见过面的长得黑黑瘦瘦说话很平和看上去蛮厚道的 Reno Peng。Reno 是积极的 Drupal 推动者，主办过上海地区的 Drupal 用户活动，在 Jacob Redding 那里找到一些相关的视频(注意看他这篇日志的数字很牛B哦)。年初的时候有一次 RainCityStudio 主办的 meetup，虽然关注了，可是碰巧没时间去，反倒是不久后在 Digital Nomads 的 cafe meetup 上见到了来去匆匆的 Reno。

　　这次的 Drupal Camp 与 Open Source Camp 共同举办，5月17日下午1点到傍晚7点是 Open Source Camp，5月18日上午10到傍晚6点是 Drupal Camp，地点是上海南岸艺术中心 3 搂，地址是上海市南苏州路1247号，蛮晕菜的，看地图这地方就在土豆的家门口？会务费是每人50元人民币(两天的)，包括场租以及一件纪念 Tee。Drupal Camp 的形式如同 foocamp/barcamp，议题可以自行提交，大家投票决定。Reno 在邮件里跟我说还缺三台投影仪和一个投影屏，希望大家一起想办法解决，有相关资源的朋友可以直接联系会务组。报名注册请点这里。先预祝 Camp 顺利举行吧，不知道有没有时间去。

　　现在像 Google Page Rank 这样的 heartbeat 现象似乎带有点黑色幽默了，因为这时候出来的数据不是荒诞可笑，就是千奇百怪，Google PR Dancing 几乎演绎成 Google Dancing 了，PR 的变化直接影响到搜索结果的排位，搞得整个 Google 的搜索可靠性也跟着跳呀跳的。不过我始终认为 PR 值的正确价值首先要有 Google 正确的运作才会产生，而不仅仅是依靠市场自己来甄别。如果 Google 努力将 PR 建设成为具有优质参考价值的指标而非所谓的权威指标，那么其对搜索引擎市场的影响会深远得多。

　　已经很久没有去关注 PR 了，自己感觉再怎么降也不会降到五楼以下去吧，没兴趣去关注了，可就是偏偏 Google 每每要出来 shake your head 一下，真是淘气呀，今天各大 SEO 工具站点提供 Google 数据中心查询的服务全部爆满，有的甚至宕机了事，当然还有一些一如既往对中国的查询 IP 进行过滤，我首页上的 mypagerank PR 条就挂了，简直就是三个月一次全球查询大暴涨，如果有这么一个全球查询指数拿去做期指卖，估计很有潜力咧。

　　PR 的参考价值究竟还有多少？很多站长和 blogger 关注的往往只是首页的 PR，这就像见面的三分钟一样，被 PR 灌昏头的我们这一代中国“准专业”网民已经有一种思维定势，访问网站的时候会不自觉地瞥一眼 PR 值，看到一个6以上的值头皮都会发乍，而在真正访问内容页面的时候却很少再去关注它，不夸张地说，PR 在中国绝大多数站长心目中还只是 HPR (Home Page Rank)，这对于内容为王的专注写作者无疑是个可笑的悖论。

　　PR 在国内的现状仍然处于一种尚未被正确认识和对待就要被抛弃的状态，Google 说要推 VR，鬼知道那东西什么时候才会上线，而且无论你搞出什么 Rank，都难逃人为的恶意。对于眼下的 PR，我倒觉得如果全线飘红的话，确实有助于重新整理 PR Sales 市场。

　　顺便说一下我的可笑的数值，我的门户首页，有史以来从来没去建设过，只是放了一个 slide.com 的 widget 轮播 flickr 帐号的图片，竟然已经整整两年多了一直是 PR 5，可是两个星期前开始在上面用 Joomla 折腾我的全英文门户站点，刚才一看，噗哧，5-3=2，thank you and screw you, Google :P

homepagle has been out there for some weeks, but nothing big on its site statistics, alexa rank out of 20,0000, no hot than the idols picture in its gallery, poor baby. I just found some sponsored review blog posts around the blogosphere, well, they pick a web 2.0 way.

Anyway, I just like its idea about turning a common image gallery or directory site into a place everyone can upload and share. But the problem is the love only goes to the idea itself, and I myself have the blank page my homepage, and never get bored of it, cause it opens dead fast, least memory consumption and I don't need a search box sticking on my homepage every time I open it, moreover, no sh!t warning page while offline.

Johnny Lee had his gadget, which is assembled by Nintendo Wii remote and interact with his wiimote software, introduced to public on TED (Technology Entertainment Design).
